Na primere dvuh uchastkov berega Kaliningradskoy oblasti - Kurshskoy kosy i rayona mysa Taran Sambiyskogo poluostrova vypolneno sravnenie vekovoy i sovremennoy dinamiki beregov. Dannye dlya vekovoy dinamiki (1910-2010 gg.) vzyaty iz istochnikov AO «Balt AGP», dannye o sovremennoy dinamike (2002-2017 gg.) polucheny iz rezul'tatov ezhegodnogo beregovogo monitoringa AO IO RAN. Sravnitel'nyy analiz materialov pokazyvaet ne tol'ko unasledovannost' beregovyh processov, no izmenenie ih skorosti. Na Kurshskoy kose usililsya razmyv v yuzhnoy chasti (v 3 raza v prikornevoy chasti i v rayone turbazy «Hvoynoe»). Na myse Taran Sambiyskogo poluostrova abraziya oslabela v razy.
