V stat'e rassmotrena sovremennaya litodinamika ostrovnogo bara Yarki. Ukazany osnovnye morfometricheskie parametry bara i ih izmeneniya posle stroitel'stva Irkutskoy GES. Polucheny sleduyuschie vyvody: za 50 let ploschad' bara sokratilas' bolee chem napolovinu (62%). Srednee smeschenie beregovoy linii sostavilo 128 metrov. Izmenenie morfologicheskih parametrov svyazano s povysheniem urovnya Baykala posle stroitel'stva Irkutskoy GES. Otstupanie beregovoy linii ostrovnogo bara so storony ozera opisyvaetsya koncepciey Bryuna-Zenkovicha. Povedenie berega chislenno podtverzhdaetsya raschetami po formule Dina-Maurmayera.
